My bAbe had his 4 month well check today. He is getting too big too fast. He has his bottom 2 teeth already! My earliest baby to get teeth. He is reaching for things and it is so cute to watch. He laughs at his brothers and sister all the time. He LoVes to watch them. Madison likes to help hold her lil brother. I LoVe being his MoMMy.

I want our kids to know that their Dad is one special guy, one of a kind. I could NEVER imagine a better mAn to fill these shoes. i Love that my kids can look to him for a laugh and a shoulder to cry on. We definately try SuPer hard to make our Union work. Through the hard times we have endured.

V- DaY celeBration & a FiRsT....

OuR little Vance got his FIRST tooth. It popped through on February 15th....ALREADY!!!! He is not even 4 months old yet. How sad for me.... my baby is growing up!

Me and my hubby had our special dinner after the kiddies crashed for the night. We cooked my FAVORITE crab legs..... steak, potatoes, asparagus, french bread...yum. Dason is such a gentlemen..... he helped me cut all the legs and claws.. i was in heaVen.

TimE is moving 2 quickly.... my babies.... where'd they go....

Life seems so busy lately. I have so many thoughts and things to share about the kiddies these past few weeks.... where to begin??

Everyday something interesting haPPens with one of the children and i think "i need to remember that", but do I? I definately file it away somewhere in the MIX in my head. I forgot a lot of things this week... Classroom snacks ...... sorry Mats. Valentine party $$$ for class party ..... sorry AGAIN Mats. Lets see what else. I kept Davin home from school on Monday.... just because. Well actually it was kinda for me and Vance. My pOOr babe doesn't get the best naps because i am ALWAYS on the go! I leave the house to drop Davs @ 9:10, unload all little men @ 9:25am walk Davin in to class... give lots of hugs and kisses.... load remaing 2 babes @ 9:40 and head to the casa. Home: to clean the kitchen, to take a fast shower, to nurse Vancey, to put him to bed for too short of a nap, to give Blane snuggles and then off to the races AGAIN. This situation could be easier if I let davin ride the bus, but I can't. We really BOND with one another on the rides there and back. I so enJoy this time, PLUS I am such a bAby.... I get all sad about the idea of the bus.

Here's What i didn't want to forgeT.

Madison gave a talk in church that she had to read. It was about the righteousness of Noah and his family in obeying God in building the Ark. She had to read this in sharing time in senior primary(which is 7 year olds-11year olds). She did aWesome! When she was done she said " that was so fun!... I want to do it again!" I am so glad she likes to speak in front of people. Later this week she lost her 5th tooth. She stayed home from school on Monday because her loose tooth hurt. So that night we bought some oragel, gooped it on that tooth and talked her into her Dad pulling it. She sort of let him, but was mad when he did because it hurt. She was happy 10 minutes later when she KneW the tooth fairy would be coming and that her tooth would no longer bother her. Parent/Teacher conference was tonight. I am so happy to hear the love that her teacher has for her.

Davin amazes and surprises me DaiLy by the the things he does and says. Lately he has been on this kick where he hears words that he knows aren't appropriate and asks, "Is that a bad word?" I say, "Yes, and we don't repeat it". These words are not the REALLY bad words, just the ones like he**, stupid, dam* and Oh my G*d. He told his teacher that one of the girls in his class sad a bad word, but he didn't remember which one. He told me that he told her not to say it. Funny GuY. He is funny and he loVes to watch OUR wedding video. The other day in the car he said, "Mom, I don't want to be a Dad" I was surprised at this and asked, "why?" he said, "because i don't want to dance". I just LAUGHED at this. He continued to tell me that he didn't want to wear the work clothes either. Funny guy. He is always so concerned about life. He asks so many grown up questions... like about Jesus and Our family. He is such a sweetie...MY sweetie.

Wayne's World... my Blane. He is such a silly boy. When I call him this he says back to me, "Mommies waynes word!!" He is really a GooD big brother. He is so gentle with Vance and likes to softly rub his head. I love to watch him and the way he lovingly looks at his baby brother...warms my heart.

Vance is already 31/2 months! WHAT??? He is so pErfEct! He rolled from his tummy to his back on February 9th. Yay!! He has been sleeping so good in his bed. Lately, he will go 5-7 hours before waking. He is so happy and smiley. He still like to be burrito wrapped. He loves to stand when I hold him and he is really good at it. Sometimes when I hold him, his legs are so stiff like they would be if he were standing. I have to bend his legs to get him to relax on me. I aDorE this little man. I can't wait to get to him in the morning to see his twinkling eyes and cheery smile. I miss holding him right this very moment as i type.

swEEtness...

Isn't he so cute! Jenny had her baby on January 27th. She didn't find out what she was having so we all were super excited to see when IT came out. It's a boy!! Sorry Madison, she was really hoping for a girl. Benett Dre Goodman weighed 7lbs 11oz and he was 20 inches. The funny thing is that he looks totally opposite of his big brother who has dark hair and really dark eyes with long black eyelashes. Beckham is a pretty bOy! Benett is a little blondie(kinda orange), blue eyed

baby. I kept telling him that he looks like Aunt D's babies. I can't believe how biG Vance seems now...crAzy.

wHat's up with us???

Mats is getting so biG! She has lost 3 teeth and has 2 more that are loose. She really likes school a lot. She is a great speller(i tell her ... like her mother). She earned a homework pass which she didn't want to use, she WANTED to do her homework. I was impressed. I know what i woukd have done, I tried to convince her to use it , but she had her mind made up. She loves making her Mom and Dad and brothers little handmade notes. We are her teachers in church and I am so proud of her that she will say the prayer and answer questions correctly... wOw!

BLANE...WAYNE

Our little Blane .... isn't sHE so cute!! Sorry Blane, we couldn't resist! Blane has been potty traing since right before Christmas. I am really proud of him. He took to it so fast! He rarely has any accidents and wakes up dry most nights. I have been fortunate to have such easy potty trainers. Blane is feisty and when he gets into trouble and we say "timeout" he Quickly says, "Sorry mom, Sorry Mom, Sorry mom". It is so cute! When his Dad says he will take blane to time out Blane's response is "I punch dad in da Pace". I have one of THOSE kids?? I think he tries to be good, but is just lacking self control(at least that's what I tell myself). He is in a toddler bed now too. He is pretty gOOd at staying in his bed now, most nights. FrEEdom feels too good! he rides his scooter and he is so fast and crazy on it. People are shocked when they see how good he is riding it.

DAVIN ... DAVS

Silly Davs! This child cannot sit still on the couch. He watches TV on top of his head. This would be so uncomfortable. He is really agile and has great balance. He can stand on his head for over a minute and just balance. We need to get him into Gymnastics because i am sure he would be good at it. He likes school and is getting much better with his words! I am so proud of him and how hard he tries to improve. He can write his name too! He has been going through a pouty stage. It kinda makes me mad and kinda makes me laugh. He tries to be all tough, but then starts laughing. He is into video games right now and he learns how to play them fast.

VANCE ... VANCEY

Vancey is so sweet. Lets see where to start. He is already 3 mOnths old!! My beSt baby by far ...thank goodness! He loves taking a bath. His boDy is so strong; he can stand with assistance(duh). During tummy time(that's what we call it) Vance will hold his head up totally high and try to look at the ceiling...he looks so cute doing this. The other kids love to play and laugh with him. I love to see his cute lil neck as he stretches it. So sad for me..... I put Vance in his crib for the FIRST time since he was born ! He has adjusted so smoothly. Last night he slept for 7 hours straight. I woke up @ 7am and kinda freaked out.... I thought I must have slept through his crying, but then realized that the monitor was on and turned up high...whew. Thankful for our technology! I jump up as soon as I hear him cry during the middle of the night... Mommy misses her babe! He is so smiley! He loves smiling at his dad. What a jOy he is in our lives.
