Train Park

a nEw lil' niece for me to snuggle...

Kendric Jean was born in December. She was such a peanut!
My Sister did not find out what she was having so it was so exciting during her delivery to see what she was having. We were all hoping for a girl. When she came out I yelled..." it's a GIRL!!" I was a little anxious to see. I called home to tell Madison what her Aunt Nell had and she was so happy...finally a girl cousin on the Derfus side for her. She asked me the cutest thing after I told her that the baby was a girl. She said, "Mom, does she look like me?" It was so cute! My Grandma who just passed away predicted that Janelle would have a girl...she was right!

Grandma Sharon had a dog tag made up for each grandchild that said, "Papa Dan loves me the most". She also gave each grandchild and son/daughter and in- law a $2 bill. She said that Pa(her Dad) carried one in his wallet for good luck. He died a couple of years ago and she thought we could remember him by this $2 bill.

JoY JOy Joy....... TiS the SeaSon

Dason built this kitchen for the kids. We took them on a scavenger hunt with clues and a new present to find the BIG gift. They love it!

Homemade with love from our sweet Davin. He brought it home wrapped from school like a week before Christmas and he couldn't wait to give it to us.

All he wanted for Christmas was these Bakugans... I didn't even know what they were, but supposedly EVERYONE at school had them so......................

Blane just wanted whatever his cool older brother wanted!

Madison wanted jewelery and girly things.

Vancey had no clue what to ask Santa for.

X-Mas EvE....

We are pretty dead set on this tradition. It is so fun to see the kids get so excited. They each open a present (new Jams) of their own and then they have a shared present to open (X-mas movie). We get some hot chocolate ready and take it in the car to drive through the neighborhood looking at lights. After we get back home, we make sure Santa has his plate of cookies & milk and that we leave carrots by the door for the Reindeers. Then the kids settle onto the couch to watch their new Christmas movie. Then off to bed. Our kids could not fall asleep this year....they were so excited for Santa to come!

He CraCks me up!!

One night Blane was relaxing on the couch before bedtime and he started to tell me that he was tired. He said this to me "Mom, I am really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really TIRED". No joke, this is ReaLLy how many times he said really. We kept waiting for him to finish and everytime he would say really I thought it was going to be the last One. This was so funny...I didn't want to forget it. We love you bud!
